정정혜 엘리사벳

정정혜 엘리사벳은 1797년 정약종 아우구스티노와 유 체칠리아의 딸로 태어나 네 살 때 세례를 받았다. 어린 시절 가족과 함께 서울 청석동과 창동 등에서 살았다. 1801년 신유박해 때 온 가족이 체포되어 아버지와 이복오빠 정철상은 순교했지만, 정정혜는 어머니와 오빠 정하상과 함께 석방되었다. 이후 마재에서 길쌈과 바느질로 가족의 생계를 도우며 친척들의 냉대를 인내와 사랑으로 이겨 냈다. 훗날 서울 후동 주교댁에서 어머니와 함께 살며 성직자의 살림과 교회 일을 돌보았다. 1839년 7월 가족과 함께 체포된 뒤 혹독한 형벌에도 신앙을 지켰고, 12월 29일 서소문 밖에서 참수형으로 순교하였다.

Jeong Jeong-hye (Elizabeth)

Jeong Jeong-hye, Elizabeth, was born in 1797 to Jeong Yak-jong, Augustine, and Yu Cecilia and was baptized at the age of four. As a child she lived with her family in Seoul, including Cheongseok-dong and Chang-dong. During the Sinyu Persecution of 1801 the whole family was arrested; her father and half-brother Jeong Cheol-sang were martyred, while she was released with her mother and her brother Jeong Ha-sang. In Majae she supported the family through weaving and sewing and answered the hostility of relatives with patience and charity. Later she lived at the Hudong episcopal residence and cared for the clergy and the Church. Arrested with her family in July 1839, she remained faithful under torture and was beheaded outside the Small West Gate on December 29.

Jeong Jeong-hye (Isabel)

Jeong Jeong-hye, Isabel, nació en 1797, hija de Jeong Yak-jong, Agustín, y de Yu Cecilia, y fue bautizada a los cuatro años. De niña vivió con su familia en Seúl, entre otros lugares en Cheongseok-dong y Chang-dong. Durante la persecución de Sinyu de 1801 toda la familia fue detenida; su padre y su hermanastro Jeong Cheol-sang murieron mártires, mientras ella fue puesta en libertad con su madre y su hermano Jeong Ha-sang. En Majae sostuvo a la familia con el tejido y la costura y respondió con paciencia y caridad al desprecio de sus parientes. Más tarde vivió en la residencia episcopal de Hudong y atendió a los sacerdotes y a la Iglesia. Detenida con su familia en julio de 1839, permaneció fiel bajo tormento y fue decapitada el 29 de diciembre.

丁情惠（依撒伯尔）

丁情惠，圣名依撒伯尔，1797年出生，是丁若钟奥思定与柳则济利亚之女，四岁时领洗。幼年时，她曾随家人居住在汉城青石洞、仓洞等地。1801年辛酉迫害中全家被捕，父亲和异母兄丁哲祥殉道，她则与母亲和兄长丁夏祥获释。此后她在马岘以纺织和缝纫维持家计，并以忍耐和爱德面对亲族的冷遇。后来她住在后洞主教住所，照料神职人员并服务教会。1839年7月，她与家人一同被捕，在酷刑中坚守信仰，于12月29日在西小门外被斩首殉道。
