김계완 시몬

김계완 시몬은 한양의 양인 집안에서 태어나 약방을 운영하였다. 1791년 최필공에게서 교회 서적을 얻어 읽고 최창현에게 세례를 받았다. 신해박해 때 체포되어 한때 마음이 약해졌지만 곧 회개하고 신앙을 회복하였다. 주문모 신부가 조선에 입국한 뒤에는 동료들과 함께 신부의 거처를 마련하고 신앙 공동체를 조직했으며, 자주 신부를 찾아 성사를 받고 복사로 봉사하였다. 1800년 말 박해가 시작되자 강완숙의 주선으로 김연이의 집에 피신했다. 그는 약재상이라는 생업과 인맥을 이용해 성직자의 거처와 교우들의 왕래를 도왔으며, 주문모 신부 곁에서는 복사 역할도 맡았다. 늙은 아버지가 대신 체포되었다는 소식을 알아보다가 붙잡힌 김계완은 형벌 속에서도 신앙을 버리지 않았다. 늙은 아버지가 자신 대신 붙잡혔다는 소식을 듣고 가족을 구하려다 체포되었지만, 그 뒤에도 신앙을 부인하지 않았다. 1802년 1월 29일 서소문 밖 또는 새남터에서 참수형으로 순교하였다.

Kim Gye-wan (Simon)

Kim Gye-wan, Simon, was born to a commoner family in Hanyang and worked as an apothecary. In 1791 he read Catholic books received from Choe Pil-gong and was baptized by Choe Chang-hyeon. Arrested during the Sinhae Persecution, he briefly weakened but soon repented and returned to the faith. After Fr. Zhou Wenmo entered Joseon, Kim helped fellow Catholics arrange a residence for the priest and form a community. He visited the priest for the sacraments and served as his assistant. When persecution began late in 1800, Kang Wan-suk arranged for him to hide in Kim Yeon-i's home. Kim was arrested while trying to learn what had happened to his elderly father, who had been seized in his place. He remained firm under torture and was beheaded on January 29, 1802, outside the Small West Gate or at Saenamteo.

Kim Gye-wan (Simón)

Kim Gye-wan, Simón, nació en una familia de condición común de Hanyang y trabajó como boticario. En 1791 leyó libros católicos que recibió de Choe Pil-gong y fue bautizado por Choe Chang-hyeon. Detenido durante la persecución de Sinhae, flaqueó brevemente, pero pronto se arrepintió y volvió a la fe. Después de la entrada del P. Zhou Wenmo en Joseon, Kim ayudó a otros católicos a preparar una residencia para el sacerdote y a organizar una comunidad. Visitaba al sacerdote para recibir los sacramentos y le servía como ayudante. Cuando comenzó la persecución a finales de 1800, Kang Wan-suk dispuso que se escondiera en casa de Kim Yeon-i. Kim fue detenido mientras intentaba saber qué había ocurrido con su anciano padre, arrestado en su lugar. Permaneció firme bajo tortura y fue decapitado el 29 de enero de 1802 fuera de la Pequeña Puerta del Oeste o en Saenamteo.

金啓完（西满）

金启完，圣名西满，出生于汉阳平民家庭，以经营药房为生。1791年，他阅读崔必恭送给他的教会书籍，并由崔昌显领洗。辛亥迫害中，他被捕后曾一度软弱，却很快悔过并恢复信仰。周文谟神父进入朝鲜后，金启完与教友一起为神父安排住所、组织信仰团体，常去领受圣事，并担任神父的辅祭。1800年末迫害开始后，姜完淑安排他躲进金连伊家中。他的老父亲代他被捕后，金启完在打听家人消息时落入官差手中。面对刑罚，他始终没有放弃信仰。1802年1月29日，他在西小门外或沙南基被斩首殉道。
