문영인 비비안나 (1776-1801)

문영인 비비안나는 1776년 한양의 중인 집안에서 태어나 일곱 살에 궁녀로 뽑혔다. 글씨에 능해 궁궐에서 문서를 쓰는 일을 맡았던 그는 1797년 병으로 궁 밖에 머무는 동안 천주교를 알게 되었다. 이듬해 강완숙의 집에서 주문모 신부에게 세례를 받고, 그 집을 오가며 교회 서적을 공부하고 미사에 참여하였다. 신앙이 드러나 궁궐과 친정에서 나오게 된 뒤에는 청석동, 오늘날 관훈동 일대에 집을 얻어 교회 일을 도왔다. 1800년 정약종이 한양으로 이주하자 자신의 집을 빌려 주었다. 신유박해 때 체포된 문영인은 혹독한 형벌 속에서 잠시 배교를 말했으나 곧 진술을 거두고 신앙을 굳게 고백하였다. 1801년 7월 2일 서소문 밖에서 참수형으로 순교하였다.

Mun Yeong-in (Bibiana)

Mun Yeong-in, Bibiana, was born in 1776 to a jungin family in Hanyang and was selected as a court lady at the age of seven. Gifted in calligraphy, she was assigned to write documents in the palace. While outside the palace because of illness in 1797, she first encountered the Catholic faith. The following year she was baptized by Fr. Zhou Wenmo in Kang Wan-suk's home and returned there to study Catholic books and attend Mass. After her faith became known, she had to leave both the palace and her family home. She settled in Cheongseok-dong, in the area of present-day Gwanhun-dong, and devoted herself to the Church. When Jeong Yak-jong moved to Hanyang in 1800, she lent him her house. Arrested during the Sinyu Persecution, she briefly spoke of apostasy under torture but immediately withdrew the statement and firmly professed her faith. She was beheaded outside the Small West Gate on July 2, 1801.

Mun Yeong-in (Bibiana)

Mun Yeong-in, Bibiana, nació en 1776 en una familia jungin de Hanyang y fue elegida dama de palacio a los siete años. Como escribía con gran habilidad, se le confió la redacción de documentos de la corte. En 1797, mientras se encontraba fuera del palacio a causa de una enfermedad, conoció la fe católica. Al año siguiente fue bautizada por el P. Zhou Wenmo en casa de Kang Wan-suk, adonde acudía para estudiar libros católicos y participar en la misa. Cuando su fe salió a la luz, tuvo que abandonar el palacio y la casa familiar. Se instaló en Cheongseok-dong, en la actual zona de Gwanhun-dong, y se dedicó al servicio de la Iglesia. En 1800 prestó su casa a Jeong Yak-jong, recién llegado a Hanyang. Detenida durante la persecución de Sinyu, flaqueó brevemente bajo tortura, pero retiró de inmediato sus palabras y profesó con firmeza la fe. Fue decapitada fuera de la Pequeña Puerta del Oeste el 2 de julio de 1801.

文榮仁（彼彼亚纳）

文荣仁，圣名彼彼亚纳，1776年出生于汉阳一个中人家庭，七岁时被选为宫女。她擅长书写，在宫中负责誊写文书。1797年，她因病暂时离宫，在此期间接触了天主教。翌年，她在姜完淑家中由周文谟神父领洗，此后常到那里研读教会书籍并参与弥撒。信仰身份暴露后，她被迫离开宫廷和娘家，在青石洞，即今宽勋洞一带安家，专心协助教会。1800年丁若钟迁来汉阳时，她把自己的房屋借给他居住。辛酉迫害中，文荣仁被捕，在酷刑下一度说出背教的话，但随即撤回，坚定宣认信仰。1801年7月2日，她在西小门外被斩首殉道。
